• Air freight in a temperature-controlled pet cabin, with the flight crew aware your kitten is on board typically $350–$1,000+ depending on the route and distance (for example, a Sydney-to-Melbourne journey usually falls toward the lower end of that range)

An airline-approved travel crate is required for all journeys; you can either hire one through the transport provider (roughly $80–$200) or purchase your own IATA-approved crate in advance (roughly $60–$150), which you keep afterward.
